he is living in nürnberg & he is member of the class of professor Angerman at nürnberg art academy
the TANTE RESI / AUNT RESI series
is a collaboration project since 2003 with his grandaunt Resi, born 1919 in bavaria
at first glimpse one can feel the fun Florian has with his model trying to make her immortal
with the ironically posed portraits in real life situations
he describes the life of a hard-working retired generation coined by the german economic miracle
Tante Resi is member of a generation trying to deal with hard work
during their best years, age & loss of the partner
now she is allowing herself some enjoyment
which is shown with her fancy accessories
& her look & interior equipment is so characteristic for this generation
the artist does not make fun of Tante Resi & with his respect he creates an impressive work
