IRINA GABIANI is a georgian artist, born 1971
after studying at the academy of arts in tbilisi, moved to amsterdam
where she studied at the Gerrit Rietveld academy, free direction & contemporary jewelry departments
she lives & works in luxembourg since 1998
her works involve drawing, painting, photography, video & sculpture, often in porcelain or ceramics
the STARDUST DANCE series
is like the arm of a dancer which undulates & communicates
raising us into an infinite universe of two similar worlds: the micro and the macro
through out the holistic experience - uni/bi/tri-dimensional -
we are invited to enter & get related with the most unique system of organic objects & images
complex & interrelated in chain
wired to the senses & feelings of the most introspective spinning movement
a seduction in scale, minor or bigger
shaping the reflections that are getting out of the mirror of memories & dreams
exploring & constructing a new brand representation of reality itself
as we see the stardust tales’ waves are communicating & we can only say: shall we dance?
